Intricate Pieces, LLC is locally owned and operated. Our clinical staff is commited to providing fun and effective ABA therapy to help your little one reach their highest potential. Each member of our team is board certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Intricate Pieces provides center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are currently enrolling kiddos ages 18 months - 10 years old. We pride ourselves on providing highly individualized treatment to each client. This means that treatment is designed in a way that suits each child's needs and abilities. We provide daily progress reports and bi-weekly parent trainings so you are always in the loop on what's going on with your child. When time to transition away from our services, we provide generalization plans that will help your little one to continue to be successful long after he/she has left our care.
Autism doesn’t have to define a person.
They define themselves through hard work and individuality. We believe in embracing who they are to help define their future and change the world.
Intricate Pieces is dedicated to delivering effective and efficient ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We will utilize natural environment teaching (NET) to increase skill acquisition while simultaneously decreasing challenging behaviors.
We envision a world inclusive of all people, despite their disability. We do our part to contribute to each child's success by considering treatment based on their strengths, not their deficits. Intricate Pieces ensures all of our families have access to resources and support needed to lead the best possible lives.
1:1 ABA Therapy
Our center-based therapy will use a 60/40 combination of Natural Environment Training (NET) and Discrete Trial Teaching. This combined approach helps children meet their goals from any starting point. Utilizing primarily NET allows the child to be in their comfort zone while learning.
Group ABA Therapy
Our center based group therapy is ideal for children who are preparing to enter a classroom setting. Group Therapy will cover the same skills as 1:1, but at a 2:1 ratio.
Our ABA social skills class breaks down more complex social skills (such as: taking turns, conversation, sharing, joining a group, working with others towards a common goal, understanding facial expressions, tone of voice, etc.) into smaller components and then teaches those components systematically.
Intricate Pieces offers bi-weekly parent trainings to keep caregivers in the loop on their child's progress. This is also a time to discuss any concerns and collaborate with our BCBAs on the development of future goals.
The most common areas to be targeted with ABA therapy include expressive language, behavior reduction, skill acquisition, toilet training, play & leisure, school readiness, adaptive & self-help skills, and receptive language.
